MEETINGS
The Alaska Eskimo Whaling Commission hosts three meetings throughout the year. These triannual meetings are utilized to conduct business related to the co-management of the bowhead harvest.
MEETING REQUEST
The triannual meetings of the AEWC are utilized to conduct business related to its responsibility in carrying out its role in the co-management of the bowhead whale. To request time on the agenda and an audience with the Commissioners, please review the AEWC Presenter Guidelines, and complete the "Presenters Request Form" link below OR the online form, also linked below.

The AEWC does not GUARANTEE permission to present during its triannual meetings. Each submission will be reviewed and approved or denied according to the available time.

Requests must be submitted no later than one month prior to the meeting date.

Presenters must submit an electronic copy of their presentation one week prior to the meeting.

Presenters are asked to respect the allotted time for their presentation and not to exceed the time provided.

The AEWC will host a Poster Session on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, in conjunction with "Science Day." The session will allow approved presenters to provide further information on their projects and get feedback from AEWC whaling captains and community members. Space is limited to those approved as presenters during the meeting. Please indicate on your Presenter Request Form if you plan to also participate in the Poster Session.
